Alden Cudanin is currently working on the Canadian Century Research Infrastructure Project at York University creating databases that sample the Province of Ontatrio from each Canadian Census from 1911 to 1951. He is also working on expanding the Toronto sample from the Canadian Families Project which already is a good representation of families in Toronto from the 1901 Canadian Census. Alden also works part-time for the Institute for Social Research at York training and monitoring the collection of data for various social science projects.
Alden also writes for Toronto Metroblogging and is the creator of Toronto Before, a blog which he uses to post neat bits and pieces of Toronto's history. When he gets a chance he also spends time on his own blog Aladone's.
