We have five branches to serve you: the Main library in Abingdon, plus branch libraries in Damascus, Glade Spring, Mendota, and Hayter's Gap. You can always find out what's going on with us on our website.
At WCPL, our motto is "libraries change lives." We are committed to making an impact on our community. Our patrons deeply value old-fashioned library services, so we are still all about:

- hosting exciting programs, including author talks/book signings and the Summer Reading Program
- offering meeting space to community groups in our conference rooms
- promoting reading and literacy throughout Washington County, especially for children
- reference service, where patrons can take their questions and research needs
- a Virginia Room for genealogy research
