4. Business Arising
John Buchan plaque unveiling at Pioneer Gardens 10:00am Thursday 14th December by David Cooney, Manager Open Space and Environment, DCMB.
Malcolm had a discussion with Dan Cregan, following points were covered:
Follow through with the nationally funded $1m traffic study in relation to Hahndorf “On – Off” ramps at 2 locations, to help reduce the Main Street traffic volume and to increase safety,
Heritage (heritage regulations noted Advertiser article Dec. 10th)
Jean reiterated that all Hahndorf residents are automatically members of the Hahndorf Community Association; but Committee membership of the Association are nominated and elected from the membership.
There are no voting rights without committee membership.
Committee link to Council is to continue through Jean Germano (Township Plan/Committee projects). Minor issues should be addressed to Councillors for follow up.

6. Reports 2018/2019
6.1 Council - Cr Leach briefed HCA. Cr Hardingham will be our main contact regarding DCMB issues. 1st DCMB meeting after elections was attended by all Councillors. Council meets every 1st Monday of each month and there is an open invitation for all residents to attend, and with issues of Hahndorf’s interest being discussed, it has been seen to have an impact. Minutes and agenda’s on DCMB website.
All North Ward Councillors are happy to attend meetings when possible.
Maddie Dobbin and Peter McGinn from DCMB are happy to attend when possible.
6.2 Events - After successful Remembrance Day 2018. Janet and Ann are reapplying for a 2019 grant for Remembrance Day. Action: Ann & Janet
Discussion regarding traffic noise during service was raised, and we will seek DCMB Council and the Police for assistance next Main Street event.
6.3 Financial - Closing balance $6030.00. Eric to renew insurance. Action: Eric

6.4 Township Plan - As per report.
6.5 Village Voice - Great stories, and feedback has been positive on Beerenberg old barn and Dr Auricht house. Invitation to visit the restored Beerenberg Barn in 2019: Action Narelle Always looking for stories and images for Village voice and Wiki site.
