Hahndorf Academy Building 2015

The Hahndorf Academy Foundation Inc. cordially invites you to become a valued participant in its activities.  The Foundation is a non-profit, non-government organisation dedicated to the preservation of this stately heritage listed building known as the Hahndorf Academy, and to the heritage of Hahndorf.

The Hahndorf Academy Foundation's activities are located within the Hahndorf Academy building and consist of Art Galleries, the German Migration and Heritage Museum, Artists in Residence, and a retail Art and Craft Shop.

Involvement in any of the following ways is personally enriching and of great value to the wider community.

  • Attending Academy functions

  • Becoming a Foundation member

  • Nominating for the Board of Management

  • Helping with the planning and organisation of fundraising events

  • Volunteering on a regular basis - assist with guided tours, in the retail area, exhibitions, gardening and maintenance.

Your support will ensure that the Hahndorf Academy’s rich cultural traditions will remain public property and available to all.

German Settlement Museum

Formed in 1988 and now focusses on photo and document scanning and collection management.
