Grace United Methodist Church

The East Burlington Community Center (EBCC) provides multiple services to community members who are looking for their second chance to make better, healthier, and happier lives for themselves and their families.   The center accommodates members of the community with affordable housing, computer access, a donation-based clothing closet, and Panera Bread ministry. These services are currently available at the Grace Methodist Church in East Burlington.

Once the newly-renovated center is open, the EBCC hopes to help more families by providing more services, ultimately reaching out to the "whole" person- socially, spiritually, physically, and financially.  Bible studies, an exercise center, and other programs will be implemented to engage families and encourage more community involvement.

The EBCC is strongly driven by donations and volunteer involvement.  In the past, the center has had volunteers work with kids in after-school programs, donate clothes and furniture, as well as cook meals for other families during the holiday seasons. In 2012, the EBCC's volunteers served Thanksgiving dinner to multiple families and supported 141 additional families through collections for Toys for Tots.

For more information about the EBCC and ways to get involved, please contact the outreach coordinator, Ramona Allen.
