About K-9 Corner
The Town of Elon opened K-9 Corner in 2006, Alamance County's first dog park. The park is one acre and allows dogs and their owners to play and relax without use of a leash. This park is well-equipped with benches, water stations, and picnic tables. Dogs must be registered to use the park. Registration forms are accessible in the community center at Beth Schmidt Park. Additionally, proof of up-to-date vaccinations for your dogs are required.
The only pets that are allowed in the K-9 Corner are dogs and it is required that their messes are cleaned up in order to maintain a clean and orderly environment. Eating and smoking in the park are not permitted, however drinks and bite-sized treats for the dogs are allowed. Children under 14 must be with an adult at all times within the K-9 Corner. If you do not have a dog, you cannot enter the K-9 Corner, but you can watch from the outside.
Annual Fee for K-9 Corner:
First Dog: $20
Each Additional Dog: $10
