The University of Michigan has an enormous and well-funded alumni organization, and there are clubs around the country and around the world. Typically these groups organize around football watching events.
The University of Michigan Alumni Club of the Moon is the furthest-flung part of the organization, celebrating the all-Michigan crew of Apollo 15.
