Organic pet treat bakery in downtown Ann Arbor, now closed. Hours: closed |
How it was
The Ann Arbor Biscuit Company opened in downtown Ann Arbor during Art Fair 2007. It is a pet treat bakery that uses human grade, organic and all natural ingredients. Many of their ingredients are from local suppliers. Consideration is made for pets with allergies.
Over 28 kinds of dry dog treats are available, and can be purchased individually or by the pound (which can be mix & match). Among the dry treats is a section sized for smaller dogs.
Also available is a section of decorated chilled treats. This menu varies on a seasonal basis, and includes birthday cakes for dogs. Special orders and party catering is also offered.
A smaller cat section lists four kinds of treats, which can be purchased by the ounce.
Other items available for purchase include a variety of plush dog toys, cat toys, dog and cat collars, dog bandanas, and dog beds. Many of these items are also environmentally friendly.
The store is located in downtown Ann Arbor at 209 South Fourth Avenue, and is owned by local residents Sean and Yvette Stayduhar. Lucky, the in-store dog, is one of four pets rescued by the couple.
