Beckley Park is an Ann Arbor city park at 500 Argo Drive (map) off Pontiac Trail.

Amenities: A sloped, hilly field that's great for sledding in the winter. A small well maintained jungle gym for smaller children. One mouldy old picnic table. Residents recently raised funds and installed a second set of swings.

Caveats: Street parking only. No nearby shops.

Transit: There is a stop at Pontiac and Argo to catch AAATA Route 22.

Beckley Park is named after abolitionist minister Guy Beckley, publisher of the Signal of Liberty in the 1840s. Bordering the park is the Guy Beckley House.
