The Dexter Village Council approved a request by the American Legion Post 557 to offer poppies on Dexter's sidewalks May 15-16 as a fundraiser. In addition, the post will hold its 61st annual Memorial Day Parade May 25. It begins at 10 a.m. on Main Street in the village.
