Ypsilanti
|
- Ypsilanti's Fourth of July parade is one of the region's best, drawing from a large portion of eastern Washtenaw County and western Wayne County. The parade is a must-attend event for politicians, features 3-4 marching bands, and typically includes flyovers by the bomber from the Yankee Air Museum. The Parade begins at 11:00 a.m., starting at Wallace and going down Cross Street to end in Depot Town at Rice Street. 2007's parade was somewhat lower-key than normal, as the typical organizer bowed out for the year, and replacement organizers weren't found until fairly soon before the parade.
Plymouth
The Plymouth parade is the earliest in the area, starting at 7:30am.
