Old school Greek diner
Hours: Mon-Fri 7-3, Sat 8-3, Sun 9-2 |
The front of Frank's restaurant.
Like the Acropolis, Frank's is the fortified high point of Ann Arbor.
Frank's Restaurant is on Maynard in the one story retail portion of the Tower Plaza building. They serve Greek diner style fare for breakfast and lunch. MattH thinks they have good French Toast. MarkDilley agrees with MattH and includes they have other yummy foods.
Pete Poulos (1935-2017) and his brother in-law Frank Petropoulos opened Franks in 1969, and the decor hasn't changed since. Pete's still there at the grill, cooking your bacon and sausage from scratch. The regulars have been there for years. Well worth the wait. The wait staff is exceptional!
They're open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, Monday through Friday 7am-3pm, Saturday 8am-3pm, Sunday 9am-2pm.
