H.C. Curry (b. February 19, 1907) served as a Democrat on the Ann Arbor City Council representing Ward 1 from April 1965 to April 1971. Curry worked as a carpenter in Arkansas, Kansas, Washington, Ohio, and Pennsylvania before settling in Ann Arbor in 1946. In April 1970, he was elected mayor pro-tem in a unanimous vote of the council, succeeding LeRoy A. Cappaert, who lost his bid for re-election..
