John Beilein (pronounced bee-line) is the 16th coach of the University of Michigan men's varsity basketball team. He previously coached at Canisius, Richmond, and West Virigina, before being hired by Bill Martin to coach at Michigan in 2007, replacing Tommy Amaker. The 2009-2010 season has been his most successful year at Michigan thus far; Michigan finished 21-14 and made the second round of the NCAA tournament.
