Beal, Junius Emery (b. 1860) — also known as Junius E. Beal — of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Mich. Born in Port Huron, St. Clair County, Mich., February 23, 1860. Married to Ella Travis Beal. Republican. Presidential Elector for Michigan, 1888; member of Michigan state house of representatives from Washtenaw County 1st District, 1905-06; member of University of Michigan board of regents, 1908-39; vice-president, Farmers and Mechanics Bank. English ancestry. Burial: Beal family plot in Forest Hill Cemetery, Ann Arbor. Gravestone resembles a large book.
