It can be difficult to find quarters for laundry, parking, and the like on the weekend when your bank is closed.
These are some places you can exchange bills for quarters:
- Banks (where you could also just withdraw a $10 roll of quarters)
- Laundromats, including Mr. Stadium
- Coin operated car washes are a disappearing phenomenon; the previous recommendation, Liberty Car Wash, has been torn down to build The Mark condos.
- Some vending machines at the University of Michigan have specific instructions on how to use them as a change machine; try 2d floor east of the Rackham Building
