Underground Sounds is a record store that has been in existence in Ann Arbor since October 2001. Formerly Vinyl Joe's of Ypsilanti, Matt Bradish has been operating this independent record store since 1992. According to its Facebook profile, it is an "independent record store that does not follow convention; Top 40, MTV, Grammys, etc. are all ignored." It focuses primarily on vinyl as a format and "customer service and politeness" as a way of business. All special orders and pre-orders are price discounted at Underground Sounds.
