Water Hill is a neighborhood on the northwest fringe of downtown Ann Arbor bounded by Miller Avenue, Brooks Street, Sunset Road, and the Ann Arbor Railroad tracks.
It was the site of the annual Water Hill Music Fest which featured outdoor house concerts.
The neighborhood is named after a legacy of streams that ran down the hill before hydrological engineering confined them to underground pipes, and its streets with aquatic names: Spring, Fountain, Brookridge, and Brooks.
Parks in the neighborhood include Belize Park and Hunt Park.
Resident Paul Tinkerhess has claimed coining the name in about 2002 although one (April Fools' Day) post says that it was mentioned in a poem that Robert Frost finished while he was artist-in-residence at the University of Michigan in 1921.
