Hanover Square is a city park at the corner of Packard Street and Division Street. It was one of only two city parks in 1900.
The scupture Arbor Sapientiae is located in the park.

A petition was read asking for the right to play lawn tennis on Hanover Square. Ald. Wines objected and the petition was denied. Hanover Square is for ornamentation not for use seems to be the position of the aldermen.
