Meal Ticket is a breakfast place down on San Pablo. Good place to get some good breakfast. They are usually packed on the weekends so expect a wait.
Chef Carter uses his Scottish background to create an amazing menu that has blown us away. Essentially an American culinary experience with a kick (or two). If you're new to fusion food or want to try it finally, be sure to order his Pulled Pork with Curry of Coconut which also has Mexican and Thai influences.
Meal Ticket was featured on the Food Network program "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" on November 26, 2010. The episode was called "Sweet N' Savory."
