Strawberry Creek Park was created in 1983 on the site of the former Santa Fe Railroad line in West Berkeley. It daylights a section of Strawberry Creek. There is a large field on the North at Addison street. There are two picnic areas with bar-be-que pits; one by the creek in the middle of the park, and one by the tennis courts, accessible from Allston Way and Bonar St.
Adjacent to the park along the Bonar Street side are buildings with a variety of business, including Phoenix Pastificio where you can buy fresh pasta made right there.
