In 1998, the City of Camarillo established the Camarillo Ranch Foundation, Incorporated, as a nonprofit public benefit corporation. There is an appointed a 15-member Board of Directors whom operate the foundation. A $5 donation is recommended. The Camarillo Ranch acts as an event center so tours are subject to change. Visitors are able to walk through the 6,000 square-foot house. The home hosts two staircases, extensive woodwork and a beautiful wrap-around porch. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the gardens, take-in the massive root system of the famous towering Moreton Bay Fig Tree, and visit the gift shop. There are public restrooms available as well as free parking.

Tours of the home are approximately 50 minutes long and include stairs. The Camarillo Ranch is wheelchair accessible on the first floor of the home; however, wheelchairs are not available for rental.
