Park Location
Located off Lewis Road near the CSUCI campus, the entrance to the park is a little hard to find unless you're looking for it.

Camarillo regional park is a great place to view birds and wildlife. The local Audubon Society recommends it for birding. (

There are several hiking trails around the old dairy and up the nearby hills. It's one of a few places with native lowland scrub habitat remaining. A website with a map:

On April 14, 2009 the Ventura County Board of Supervisors voted to give the land that makes up the park to CSUCI.
