"Kendall Hall","39.729724","-121.844805" is the building on the Chico State campus that mainly houses administrative offices, such as the human resources and payroll departments. The cornerstone of the building rests on top of the cornerstone of the Normal Building which had occupied the space until it burned in 1927. It is one of the more picturesque buildings on campus, and is often photographed and used as the symbol for Chico State in promotional materials. The building is named after Glenn Kendall, former University President.
The walkway in front Kendall Hall has dates in the paved stones. Beneath those stones are time capsules that were buried by the graduating class of that year, an annual event in the spring.
