They specialize in seafood dishes (although non-seafood options are available) and boast on their website that the restaurant is both romantic and kid-friendly. The menu includes several types of tacos (fish, shrimp, chicken, and carne asada). Main dinner dishes are around $10-15 per person, with lunch combos under $8 including a drink.

2009-09-25 02:51:52 Feature fresh seafood with south-of-the-border-flair! They have tacos available as well, they are delicious! They offer fish, shrimp, chicken, and carne asada tacos. ($2.00 ea. ala carte) They're each loaded with avocado, cotija cheese, salsa, romaine, and sour cream. The shrimp burrito is pretty good. Lunchtime combos are all under $8.00 with a drink included. (Unlimited refills) Dinnertime is a little more expensive with most meals landing between 10-15 per person with drinks and tax. The portions are very gracious. Everything is super fresh tasting, the waitress told me they get their seafood everyday fresh from the same vendor as Rawbar and Cristian Micheals. If you want to substiture chicken or steak on anything, they're super flexible and even have T-Bones, Carne Asada and Chicken Breast on the menu. Everything is served traditional Mexican style. Definitely nothing like La Comida or Casa Ramos. They did mention that they get a lot of Mexican families from as far as Willows and Red Bluff who come just for their food. Service is always really great. Very attentive and friendly. The decor in the restaurant is unlike any in Chico. It really has a great inviting atmosphere, and with palm trees etc and ocean murals you really feel like youre in Mexico. They also have a nice kids menu available with lots of options for your little ones. Definitely family friendly but also has that really romantic vibe at dinner. The Flan is the best I've ever had. —99.36.193.59
