Tomfoolery is a downtown Chico specialty shop with all kinds of neat things to buy. They have unique traveling gear such as hidden pockets and leather gear, a generous selection of shot glasses and flasks, a number of watches, clothes, books, and a heck of a lot more. In fact, in the rear there's a gag room full of unusual things like rubber ducks, a Jesus action figure, magic tricks, and interesting games (although they do have a fine selection of chessboards).

Tomfoolery originally first opened in the North Valley Plaza after closing of the owners' previous business venture, Carousel Toys in 1988. Then the store went out of business in 2001 but was reborn in downtown Chico early 2003.
