McKinley Church is a Presbyterian congregation that worships in the Champaign-Urbana community. McKinley Church is also affiliated with the McKinley Presbyterian Student Foundation, a campus ministry group, and Presby Hall. They have a vibrant children's ministry, a weekly Bible study, and a dedicated choir program.
Services are casual and are held every Sunday morning at 10:30 am, with fellowship beforehand at 10:00. Generally worship is led by Pastor/Head of Staff Heidi Weatherford and Director of the Foundation/Associate Pastor Keith Harris.
McKinley is a More Light church within the PC(USA) denomination, which means that it is committed to increasing the involvement of all people in the church regardless of sexuality. As they say on McKinley's website: "we believe that God’s radical love embraces all, whatever their gender, ethnicity, or sexual identity."
