About

Sleepy Creek Vineyards is just a short drive east of Champaign-Urbana by way of I-74.  Joe and Dawn Taylor started the vineyards in 2002 and opened the winery in 2007.¹​  The winery offers a 'relaxed wine experience,' that satisfies the needs of both wine novices and experts. Sleepy Creek hosts a variety of activities including wine tastings, live music, vacation rentals, theSalt Fork River Art Festival, and the weekly Wieners and Wine during the months of April-October.  More event information can be found on Sleepy Creek's website.  

Directions

From I-74, take Exit 206 at Oakwood.......Turn south onto Oakwood Rd.......In about three miles, you will cross a small bridge that goes over the Salt Fork River and go up a hill. At the top of the hill, look for the little blue tourist sign on the right telling you to take the next left (east). Turn left (east) onto county road 1425 N.......Turn right (south) into the first drive on the right.......Proceed down the long driveway and past the metal barn to the parking area.²

The tasting room and winery are located in the big barn by the pond.

   Friday & Saturday 10 AM - 8 PM
   Sunday  noon - 6 PM   

Winter/Spring Hours (November - March )
   Monday through Saturday 10 AM - 6 PM
   Sunday  noon - 6 PM
