Daisy Scouts are a younger scouting division for kindergarten or age 5 — however, as of October 2008, they will include 1st graders as well. They are part of Girl Scouts, and (like Brownies and other groups within Girl Scouts) have distinct ranks, uniforms and leadership. They visit various places while learning about nature, science, the arts and their communities. They earn Learning Petals and patches.
