Karen Gardias has been music teacher at Davis High School since 1993 and has directed the Davis High School Madrigal Singers Madrigals during that time. Initially she also directed the orchestra. In 2000 she initiated the Advanced Treble Choir (ATC) as the fourth singing group at the high school and received the Harmony in Our Lives Award in 2005. She is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Delta Kappa, holds a master's degree from Maryville University and a doctorate from the University of the Pacific.
