Safe Zone is a program run by the LGBTRC on campus. The general idea behind a Safe Zone is:
- Respect for all people regardless of sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, religion, age and ability. The Safe Zone aims to increase understanding and counteract ignorance, bigotry and harassment.
- Exiting Safe Zone Entering Reality has relevant discussion/controversy on the topic of safe zones.
