PlayGround
In order to give play opportunities for people with a variety of abilities, the Declan's Playground features more inclusive playground equipment, including zero-gravity swings, a sensory climbing dome, and a merry-go-round. A path made of interlocking, open-grid tiles is hidden beneath a thin layer of mulch, making it simpler for wheelchairs and strollers to enter the play area and get to the benches, swings, and other inclusive play items.
The Declan Donoghue Foundation and the District 4 Greensboro Participatory Budgeting voters financed this playground project.
