The nearest subway stations are Hogupo Station and Incheon Nonhyeon Station. The school is located between the two stations.

Incheon Hannuri School is a public school, supported by the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education (IMOE). The school accepts students from all over the country.

Admission is open to multicultural students, children of foreign workers, and school-aged entrants into Korea.

The school's dormitory is only open from Monday to Friday. Students must return home or stay elsewhere for the weekend.

Curriculum is 50% national standard, 50% specialized academic courses.

The school is a 1-year program. After attending Incheon Hannuri School for 1 year, students are expected to attend regular public schools.

For the 2016 school year, the school staff includes two multicultural language teachers (다문화언어), from Mongolia and Russia.
