The 442nd Regimental Combat Team Memorial Redwood Tree is a memorial in the Roberts Recreation Area of Redwood Regional Park, remembering the mostly Japanese American 442nd Regimental Combat Team. The 442nd is the most decorated unit for its size in U.S. military history. 1
Each year, surviving members meet on Armed Forces Day to remember their fallen comrades. 2 The 2020 ceremony was cancelled because of COVID-19.
