Arthur Percy Holland (February 26, 1865 – January 6, 1925) was a prominent attorney, a partner in the law firm Stoker & Holland Abstract Company, and long time resident of Oakland. At one time the Alameda County Title Insurance Co. Building in Oakland was named the Holland Building in his honor.
As a teen Holland moved West from Chicago with his family, settling in Oakland where he graduated from high school in 1884. Holland went on to attend Hastings College to study law, then graduated from Northwestern University with a law degree.
After college Holland returned to Oakland where he practiced law, and in 1891 formed the partnership of Stoker & Holland with A. H. Stoker.
In 1894 Holland married Lettie A. Wade (Holland), who was the daughter of pioneering San Francisco physician Dr. Thomas Wade. Arthur and Lettie had at least one child, daughter Loie Holland.
Holland was appointed a United States bankruptcy referee in July 1898.
Throughout the years Holland was a member of most of Oakland's leading fraternal and social organizations, including the Nile Club, the Athenian Club, and the Reliance Athletic Club.
Arthur Holland was a lifelong Republican.
Arthur and Lettie are buried in Mountain View Cemetery, in the Wade family lot.
