The Betti Ono Gallery is an art gallery in downtown Oakland featuring the work of an eclectic series of artists. The gallery is one of the venues for Art Murmur.
The gallery was founded by Anyka Barber and will be celebrating its 4th anniversary with the opening of the show "AMEN". The show "is a commitment to the affirmation and history of all people, and intentionally inclusive of marginalized queer people of color. The exhibition serves as a re-imagining of American myth and history with an emphasis on futurity."
The name of the gallery is from its 'founding spirits', Betty Davis and Yoko Ono.
In 2015 curator Anyka Barber won the Most Socially Engaged Curator award from the East Bay Express.
