The Church of Saint Leo the Great (aka "Saint Leo Catholic Church" or simply "Saint Leo's") was founded in 1911 for the growing community of Italian, Irish and German Catholics who lived and worked in the Piedmont. Saint Leo's Church is also home to the Saint Leo the Great Catholic School, the Saint Leo's Rectory, Saint Leo's Hall, and the former Saint Leo's Convent (which although still owned by Saint Leo's, is rented out to the Jesuit School in Berkeley which houses its lay students in the home.
