The City of Oakland is preparing the Coliseum Area Specific Plan to guide the transformation of the area surrounding the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and Arena into a dynamic and active sports, entertainment, residential and job-generating business district. Before the City begins formal public hearings, please come to a workshop - open to all. 

The City is hosting two public workshops for you to learn about the City's vision for the Coliseum area: new sports facilities, housing, open space and job-generating businesses, and to share your suggestions. (Coliseum City) The meetings will have the same content.

  • Thursday, April 24, 2014 -- 3-5 p.m. (Red Lion Hotel, 150 Hegenberger Road)

  • Saturday, April 26, 2014 -- 3-5 p.m. (Oakland City Hall, City Council Chambers, 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza, 3rd Floor)
