From his website: " Dan Kalb has spent his entire adult life as a policy analyst, environmental, public interest and social justice advocate, policy director, progressive reformer, and community service volunteer. He’s experienced in the legislative process, and knows how to analyze problems, vet solutions and get things done.
Dan received a Baccalaureate of Science degree in Conservation of Natural Resources from U.C. Berkeley and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. Kalb also has ten years experience as a community mediator resolving neighborhood disputes. Dan and his wife Valarie have been married for seven years."
