Description | The YMCA offers a multitude of activities and programs for children of all ages. These activities include group exercise classes, after school programs, youth and adult swim lessons, sport leagues, and day camps. |
Eligibility | Any adult 18 or over can sign up for a membership. Teen members are required to bring their parent or guardian on first visit, but after signing up they can have access any time our facility is open. Youth 12 and under must come with parent or guardian. |
Days Open | Every day of the year except Thanksgiving, Christmas, or during special facility closures. |
Hours | Monday - Friday 5:00am - 10:00pm, Saturdays & Sundays 7:00am - 8:00pm. Facility is closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas. On other major holidays (including Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, etc.) the facility will be open 7:00am - 3:00pm. |

Fees | Depends on membership type and any additional program fees. Group exercise classes, Wellness coaching, general facility access are all included with membership. Financial Assistance is available for those unable to pay full fee amount. |

The Hi-Lo Exercise Class at the Downtown Oakland YMCA was the recipient of the East Bay Express Most Community-Minded Exercise Class Award in 2014.
