Gateway Gardens Park & Pavilion is a City of Oakland park. It contains displays about the 1991 Firestorm in a structure designed to look like the remains of a burned out house. A sign calls it the Gateway Emergency Preparedness Exhibit Center, and says it was dedicated May 10, 2003.
The park has a nice view out over Highway 24 as it approaches the Caldecott Tunnel.
