George E. McCrea Memorial Park is a park located at 4460 Shepherd Street, Oakland, CA. Prior to 1962, this was known as the Leona Park Trout Pond. The Oakland Park Commission and Robin McCrea, son of George McCrea, agreed to transfer the name to this park, since the prior McCrea Park had been isolated by the construction of the Warren Freeway and had by that time become part of Holy Names College. It is the home base of the Oakland Casting Club.
