This mural was replaced in August, 2015 by the Smash Patriarchy Mural by CRP.
This mural is located at 30th and West in Hoover/Foster / Ghosttown. There is a lot of information about it here. The mural was painted by Release, Mike 360, Pancho Pescador, Desi W.O.M.E., Candalf the Great, Dekah, Butterz, Malcolm, Shabazz.
The mural was painted in 2012 and was commissioned by Bill Vidor who owns the property it is painted on. The mural features DJ Pam the Funkstress, a legendary Oakland DJ as well as local artist, educator and activist Zakiya Harris.
