In Search of Sheba: Black Women Artists 2014, February thru March 22, Warehouse 416, 416 26th Street.

A multimedia art exhibition featuring the work of 12 talented Bay Area Black women artists, dedicated to the legendary Queen of Sheba, an African Queen from ancient times. There will be a reception on the next First Friday (March 7).

Discussion of the Sheba artists' individual creative odysseys as black women. A public program in collaboration with exhibition of work by a dozen  African American female artists, dedicated to the legend of the Queen of Sheba, an African international celebrity from Ancient Times. Info here.
