The Institute of Mosaic Art was started in Jingletown in 2005 by co-founders Laurel True and ?.

In 2013, they moved to Berkeley; the have since closed their brick-and-mortar studio. More info is on their website: instituteofmosaicart.com

Although the institute has closed, the Jingletown location is still used for art classes as part of Jingletown Art Studios, and the mosaics on the building and surrounding businesses still help give Jingletown its unique feel.
