Ludovina Peralta Ivey (sometimes de Ivey) (1828 - November 30, 1917) was the daughter of Ignacio Peralta and a granddaughter of Luis Maria Peralta. 1 She inherited the land that was later the King Estate, and was also the namesake of Iveywood. Her sister was Maria Antonia Peralta Toler, wife of William Toler. [ Q: namesakes of Toler Heights? ]

Ivey purchased what is now known as Casa Peralta in San Leandro in 1874 and moved there in 1901. Her sister Maria lived until her death in 1926. 2
