The Oakland Internet Cat Video Festival is an "art and cat extravaganza" that will broadcast cat videos on the Great Wall of Oakland on Saturday May, 11, 2013 from 3 - 10 p.m.
The festival will be a benefit for the East Bay SPCA. You can find more information about the festival here.
On Friday night, May 10 2013, a preview screening will be at OMCA from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
According to the official site, festivalgoers will be able to enjoy the following in addition to cat videos:
- Opportunity to adopt animals from local rescue shelters
- Peruse cat products from vendors
- Purchase noms from local food trucks
- Participate in "cat-themed activities including a cat walk (pun intended), cat art projects, cat-themed bands and music, and many more fun activities for the whole family"
