July 14: Edit Party at the Golden Gate Branch: This event will focus on the Golden Gate District, both historic (Klinknerville!) and present-day. This is a follow-on to the Oakland Urban Paths walk with artist Sue Mark through the Golden Gate district in North Oakland. At the Golden Gate Branch from 5:30-7:30PM.

- April 26: Edit Party at the Chavez Branch Library: This event will focus on the history of the Fruitvale area and community. At the Chavez Branch at 10AM.
- April 19: Edit Party at the Temescal Branch Library: This event will focus on Oakland’s geography & neighborhoods. It will be at the Temescal Branch Library at 2PM. More info here.
- April 12: Edit Party at the Temescal Branch Library: This event will focus on documenting the experiences and knowledge of recent immigrant communities. It will be at the Temescal Branch Library at 2PM. More info here.

- March 29: Edit Party at the 81st Ave. Library: This event will focus on documenting the experiences and knowledge of the communities in the 81st Ave neighborhood. It will be at the 81st Ave. Library at 2PM.
- March 22: Kick-Off Edit Party at the Main Library: This is the kick-off edit party for the spring series of edit parties at the Oakland Public Library. It will include a brief training on Oakland Wiki, and an introduction to Oakland History Room’s resources. 2PM-4PM. More info here.

- 2013-05-05: Sun: The Jane Jacobs Oakland Wiki Walk. Meet in front of Lake Merritt BART Station at 1 p.m for a 2-hour walk based on stuff found on Oakland Wiki pages.
- 2013-05-05: Sun (also): Tacoconf for those interested in bicycles, tacos, history of local tacquariae, etc.
- 2013-04-20: Sat 10-3pm: 3rd Annual Oakland Cambodian New Year Celebration! Free admission, food, music, dance, arts/crafts to celebrate the cultural diversity of Oakland! The event was held at Peralta Hacienda Historical Park located at 2465 34th Ave. Oakland, CA 94601.
- 2013-04-14: Sun: Oakland Wiki Goes Analog! We will be posting exemplary Oakland Wiki articles around town so that more people will hear about us! We will also take the opportunity to go on field trips to places whose articles need work.

Oakland Wiki will be hosting an editathon during the Open Data Day Hackathon, a global event dedicated to using information technology to improve governance. Oakland Wiki will be focusing our efforts on civic issues such as city government, policies and politics. Find our event page!
- 2013-02-16: Sat 1-5p: Intentional Communities-themed editathon at a local cohousing community.
- 2013-02-10: Sun 1-5p: A very special Black History Month editathon at the Oakland History Room!
- 2013-02-03: Sun 1-5p: Oakland hackerspaces editathon, held at Sudo Room, a downtown Oakland hackerspace and home of Oakland Wiki! Editors had the opportunity to use our growing Oakland History library collection for research.
- 2013-01-27: Sun 1-5p: We held another fascinating editathon in the beautiful Oakland History Room in the main branch of the Oakland Public Library. Here are the day’s highlights.

- 2012-11-10: Oakland Wiki Bikeabout.
- Code for Oakland 2012: This was a civic technology conference held at City Hall that was historic for Oakland Wiki because it got us a lot of really neat people interested and active in the wiki. :]
