The Pacific Gas & Electric Company Building is a Renaissance style building which was designed by architect C. W. Dickey and constructed by R. W. Littlefield in 1922. Listed in 1986 on the National Register of Historic Places #86001665. Rehabilitated between 1996 and 2001 by McGrath Properties.
In the early 70s, PG&E declared that the building was unsafe to occupy so they sold it for pennies on the dollar, contingent upon the buyer tearing it down. The new owner proved it was safe to occupy and it was never torn down.
The building is currently home to MOCHA (Museum of Children's Arts).
