Pool is a popular game in Oakland. Many bars have actively used pool tables, there are several pool halls, and several competitive leagues.

- E One Entertainment: By the airport. Owners formerly ran Kimball's Carnival in Jack London Square, which closed in early 2014. 17 pocket billiard tables, 4 snooker tables.
- Sam Won Billiard, 27th and Telegraph near downtown Oakland. 5 pocket billiard tables, 4 billiard tables.
- Broken Rack: Closed but soon to reopen in Emeryville
